The Industrial Crane and Its Uses

Ⅰ. Industrial cranes

Industrial cranes refer to equipment that lifts heavy objects vertically within a certain range.

Industrial cranes are more and more widely used in the market because of their stable operation, large lifting capacity, and transportation work within the specified range, realizing safe and efficient transportation. Industrial cranes are particularly widely used in the warehousing industry, which can improve the efficiency of warehousing and transportation of goods. As one of the professional industrial crane manufacturers, we will introduce industrial cranes for you.

Ⅱ. Different types of industrial cranes and their uses

1. Aerial crane

Aerial cranes are used for applications that need to transport loads to remote locations that cannot be reached by truck-mounted cranes, or for tasks that cannot be completed by other means.

2. Bridge crane

A bridge-type crane that runs on elevated tracks, also known as overhead cranes. The bridge crane is a typical industrial crane, which can make full use of the space under the bridge frame to lift materials without being hindered by ground equipment. This type of crane is widely used in indoor and outdoor warehouses, workshops, docks, and open storage yards.

3. Gantry crane

Gantry crane is a type of bridge type crane in which the horizontal bridge frame is arranged on two supporting legs to form the shape of the portal frame. This type of crane is mainly used in open storage yards, docks, power stations, ports and railway freight stations for handling and installation operations.

4. Boom crane

The boom crane has the advantages of wide operating range, strong maneuverability, short operating preparation time, and quick transfer. This type of crane is widely used in stations, docks, construction sites, military facilities and other places for cargo handling and equipment installation.

5. Railway crane

The railway crane is a boom crane installed on a special steel frame and running along the railway track, used for loading and unloading operations, equipment installation, and accident rescue of railway locomotives and vehicles.

6. Deck crane

Deck crane is a machine set on the deck of a ship, with a compact structure, so that the ship has more deck area available. Deck cranes are easy to operate, efficient in loading and unloading, and flexible in maneuvering. There is no tedious preparation work before operation, and their applications are increasingly widespread.

7. Workstation crane

Workstation cranes are usually designed for small areas for specific purposes. They are independent and can also be connected to the bracket of the building to save floor space. And there is the new-type workstation bridge crane.

Workstation cranes can use one or more bridges to help workers move heavy parts for various welding, manufacturing, and assembly applications.
